I recently had the opportunity to try out the Cotopaxi Salto Ripstop Pants on a hiking trip and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.

First off, the slim fit and versatile fabric made it easy for me to navigate various terrains with confidence. The encased elastic waistband with drawcord allowed for a comfortable and adjustable fit, which was essential for me since I tend to fluctuate between sizes. The full zippered fly was also a nice touch, making it easy to take the pants on and off.

One of the standout features for me were the pockets. The hand pockets were deep enough to securely store my phone and wallet, while the concealed leg zipper pocket provided barely-there, essential storage. The back patch pockets were also a nice addition for extra storage. The D-ring for keys was a thoughtful detail that added a bit of convenience to my day-to-day use.

In terms of comfort, the Salto Ripstop Pants did not disappoint. The organic cotton blend material felt soft and breathable against my skin, even during prolonged activity. The 30″ inseam provided ample coverage without being too restrictive or baggy.

When a piece of clothing is purchased from tentree, they track your ten trees, delivering information to your Impact Wallet.

Trees are planted all across the world, including Indonesia and Madagascar.

This level of transparency is unique in the industry, but makes every customer feel like they are part of something greater.

By planting ten trees for every purchase, they hope to make change accessible to everybody and show the lasting impact one small choice can make. If planting ten trees is as easy as buying an article of clothing, then what else can you do out in the world? I have visited their booths at Outdoor Retailer on numerous occasions and continue to be impressed by the work and care they put in every product. All of their clothes are either ethically or sustainably made.

tentree had sent me their Juniper Hoodie to try. This hoodie is amazing! So cozy and comfortable. And it is made with organic cotton that is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides and fertilizer. This hoodie, as comfortable as it is, is good for the Earth!

And, if you’re thinking, “My clothes closet is full, I don’t need anything else!” or “I am not sure what my friend would like as a gift for the holidays,” tentree also allows people to sign up or gift a monthly subscription plan. For $9 or $15 a month, you can have trees planted.

The $9 plan plants 13 trees monthly, offsetting the carbon of an average Canadian’s lifestyle.

Solo Stove, a home and outdoor lifestyle brand within the Solo Brands (NYSE: DTC) portfolio is excited to share the launch of Pi Fire, the first pizza oven designed to be used with a dedicated fire pit. After releasing the Pi backyard pizza oven earlier this year, Solo Stove is thrilled to provide customers with another pizza making tool. Pi Fire leverages functionality from Solo Stove’s Pi pizza oven, but is uniquely designed to cook pizza over a wood fire pit. The exterior skirt captures the flames’ heat and directs it toward the stone and crust of the pizza, while an inverted demi-dome shape maximizes radiant heating of the top of the pizza. Craving s’mores and pizza? Pi Fire’s long legs provide the clearance needed to bake pizza while still letting you enjoy the fire pit for its traditional uses–so you can operate Pi Fire and access your fire pit at the same time.

Pi Fire is designed for you to relax around the fire while enjoying a leisurely pizza cooking experience. Once the fire is lit, Pi Fire should be ready to cook pizza within 30-45 minutes or when the stone has reached 500-600F degrees. And after launching the pizza, the cooking process should span five to ten minutes, requiring just a few turns of the pizza for an even bake. The results: An extra-crunchy, artisan, grade pizza for you and your loved ones to enjoy while relaxing around the warmth of a smokeless fire.

Pi Fire will be sold in three sizes, compatible with the Ranger, Bonfire, and Yukon sizes of Solo Stove fire pits. Pi Fire is also compatible with most of Solo Stove’s existing fire pit accessories,  such as the Surround for protection, Shield to block embers, Sticks to cook s’mores, and Tools to add logs and stoke the fire. Pi Fire is made to be highly portable with its included carry case, so that Pi Fire and artisan-quality pizza can go wherever your fire pit goes. A pair of Solo Stove’s heat-resistant gloves is also included with the purchase of Pi Fire.
